This place has had its ups and downs.. but I would like to add that the new staff are working hard to make it up again! Renovations are underway!! Lets hope for the best and I would love to be to be able to give it atleast 4 stars.

I stayed here this week. When I walked in, there was garbage throughout the stairwell to the office. I checked in, proceeded to my room that was covered in dead bugs crunching on the floor and green crusty stained bathtub. The sheets were dirty in the bed. I then asked to switch rooms. The new room had less dead bugs but still had dirty sheets. There was left over shampoo bottles in the shower from previous guests - I appreciate the thought just in case, but kind of disgusting. Before I left the hotel, I threw the clothes that I slept in, in the garbage. Those were not coming home with me. I should have just slept in my truck. Overall cleanliness was horrible but friendly staff I guess.

I would like to make it known that the antelope inn motel is under renovations and has all new staff along with a new manager. We hope that your stay is more pleasent now than it was in the past. Thank you

My husband was on the crew that is currently renovating the hotel. He is on medication for the work he has done due to black mold. He was the one that found it and supposedly "put them behind by 2 months". Please...all im asking anyone going through there and looking for a place to sleep...please...SLEEP IN YOUR VEHICAL OR DRIVE ON!! I dont want people going through what my husband is going through right now!! Please. Stay safe and healthy...your families deserve it...

In good conscience, I'll just post the other review for your perusal:This is the review that will probably get me kicked off TripAdvisor, so I'll put it here as well:I don't usually comment on large hotel chains, because they are ultimately run by their head office, and these reviews are often used a tool to discipline their employees and business partners, which is their own business. This one is an exception. Oyen is no hub of lodging opportunities, but it may have been worthwhile for Cenalta to build one here. Essentially, it amounts to "vacuuming up the crumbs." I had a chat with one of the last remaining locally-owned hotels, and it's really sad to see that he is clearly seeing his livelihood being destroyed. I'm sure that hotel is luxurious, clean, friendly, excellent and all that, but if I ever checked in, I couldn't sleep.Neither should its owners, in my opinion
